I needed a vanity for the house I rented and since my landlord was cheap I build this out of scrap 2×4 and bead board that was laying around the shop. I was giving solid surface top that was a display, so that is what set the shape of the whole vanity. the bathroom had a T&G ceiling and I used a tile to match the top a long with a dark gray 12×12 floor tile all in all it came out really nice and the only thing I bought was the shellac I used to finsh it with.

This is a great example of how nice a piece you can make out of cheap materials if you have talent and imagination. Nice job, Joey.

Interesting. Do you have any pictures of it installed with the top?

I’d like to see the “after” picture, too.
