This is a set of library cabinets that I built for a customer in a basement that I was remodeling. Nothing fancy. I used all southern yellow pine and finished it with a dark waterbased stain and three coats of poly. Sprayed all the finish on with my HVLP and it turned out great. I also built a bar cabinet in the same basement that was featured in an earlier post of mine. Ended up being about 55 linear feet of cabinetry. Took me about 2 months to do the whole thing by myself. Used the Kreg jig to do the face install on all the cabinets. Love my Kreg jig.

I’m interested in an HVLP system. Any advice?

That looks fabulous! It’s hard to believe it’s pine. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve never seen pine look so good. Very well done.
