I made this from solid walnut. I tapered 12/4 for the legs and used 5/4 for the top. The inlay banding is maple and bloodwood ordered from Matt at inlaybanding.com. I used BLO for the legs and aprons and Behlam’s Rock Hard for the top. It was later rubbed to satin with steel wool. Of note is the rediculous travel of the drawer. I thought I bought 3/4 travel slides, maybe I was mistaken. I guess I won’t lose anything in the back of the drawer. I plan to make an upper section to this in the near future.

Just GOTTA love walnut and maple together. Great work. Good job on the drawer/apron flow.

You did an oustanding job on that table. I like how the color flows across the top, you did a good job of choosing the wood there.
