Made this for my daughter-n-law at her request. She wanted a pine, rustic, somewhat distressed chest. And that’s all it is. Special lid supports from Rockler to prevent slamming, piano hinge across the back some lid reinforcement because you know the kiddies are gonna stand/sit/jump on it. Tung oil finish. Simple, but she loves it.
