Mesquite Egg and Egg Cup

I make a lot of egg cups to sell at shows and needed an egg to show people what they are for. So I turned another egg cup and made a matching egg from the rest of the mesquite log. I have gages for the egg cups and so I made one for the egg. After measuring 100 eggs I got an average size for a grade A large egg of 1.712 wide x 2.226 long. They are finished with EEE and Shellawax…....

Nice egg cup and egg Jim, you got the egg cup nice and thin. Would look great in corian.
