It’s embarrassing to paddle a cedar canoe with plastic paddles, so I made one. My wife is still working on hers. I may have to finish it for her. This one is made from hard maple and mahogany. It’s the last time I make a paddle from hard maple. My arms still hurt, and I made it 2 years ago!

Of course, you would need a paddle for the canoe. I really wasn’t even considering it in your previous post. This one is gorgeous. Maple and mahogany make a nice combination.

oooh nice!!
When we first got out canoe I bought a fancy paddle that cost some $$. Rick rolled his eyes (a paddle is a paddle he says).. ooh but how I enjoy touching my beautiful paddle and watching the water run off it . Yah..
