OK, after a 20 year break it was time to get back into woodworking again. This was adapted from a pattern from DIY Network. I increased the storage to 9 bottles, 6 just didn’t seem to be enough for those serious parties.

It is solid teak with a teak latticework back and teak rope doweling, no I didn’t do the lattice, it was scrolled by a local and set me back $45. My part was to clean it up, hand sand and finish it and then mount it on a frame.

This is beautiful. Great detail on the carving. I am looking to do something along the lines of the wine caddy, But not the carving!!!

I see your wife and my wife have the same taste in glassware.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. The latticework is gorgeous.

Thanks for the post.

Thanks one and all, people seldom see our work and this venue allows the hard labor to be appreciated by those who understand the trials and tribulations we all go thru.
