Habersham inspired curio cabinet.
Overall size is 10”w x 20”h x 6”d.
Beadboard back, carved french lite door. Dowelled drawer.

The biggest challenge was getting all the parts I needed and compensating for the goof ups.

The crown detail changed due to available materials, or lack thereof. heheh
The top kept getting thinner andd thinner and ended up being a mosaic of scraps before it was done.

I had company stop by Friday night and I lost the entire evening, so, there currently is no finish on the project.
Still, it turned out fairly nice, if I do say so myself.

More pics to come when it gets finished.
I’m planning on either an antiqued white, or a cherry red stain.
Haven’t made the decision yet.

UPDATE: Antique White! Here’s the pic:

I was super paranoid about running out of material so I saved every single scrap.
Good thing I did too… needed all of it.

Here’s a photo of what is left over from the entire 2X4

Thanks for all your comments!
I’m giving this to my wife when it is finished.

Un-frigging-believable!!! I am stupefied! How did you do that with a 2×4?
That is amazingly beautifull!!!
