A special jewellery box for a special lady

I made this jewellery box as a gift for my wife using her two favourite woods, purple heart and rosewood. The rosewood stripe wraps all the way around the box and protrudes at the front to form a handle for the removable drawer. My neighbour was kind enough to do the carving on the lid for me with his Rockler CNC router. He did a really great job.

That’s a lovely box, inside and out. My wife loves purpleheart wood as well.

That’s an absolutely beautiful piece.

You’ve earned yourself a new power tool, with THAT one :-)
