This is my version of a chisel plane. Thanks to Scott and many others for the inspiration. I used a scrap of walnut, drilled the alignment holes, cut the angle for the chisel then glued it all together. Still haven’t determined if it’s bevel up or bevel down. Seems to work both ways. Hope this inspirers you for a quick winter project.

Nice chisel plane I never thought of using an actual chisel for the blade. Brilliant. I make Krenov planes from time to time but I think I will copy your and scott’s idea. keep up the good work.
