Chess set made out of walnut and maple table has about 15 coats of lacquer and a coat of paste was the pieces have about 15 coats of lacquer and than buffed with white diamond than wax. The squares are 2”. thanks to Steve M for his video on making the table.

Great job. It is hard to find people that play the game anymore. My Dad taught me when I was a little kid, I have enjoyed it since.

Nice job on consistency on each of the pawns. I love to turn, and want to turn chess pieces, but afraid that I’d tire of so many pieces. Your’s look very doable and I just may get busy. Thanks for posting
