My two sons gave me a Delta scroll saw for Christmas and this is my first project using it. An amazing tool and lots of fun. The picture is of my younger son on his wedding day three years ago. It is going to be hard for me to wait for an occasion to give it to them.

If that’s your first, don’t let it be the last! Great job.

Damn nice work!

If this in indeed your first piece then you also have a natural knack for this type of art. It took me a dozen or so cuttings before I was able to produce something similar to the quality you came up with on the first outing.

Keep up the great work, and welcome to the club!!!

Yeah, I’m gonna have to echo everyone else on this one and say, “DANG!!!”. Very impressive work, even for an experienced scroll sawyer, let alone someone who cranked out a masterpiece on the virgin run. You have a gift, my friend.

Doug you have a good steady hand. Nice job. What software are you using to convert the photo into a line drawing?

Great job, I don’t use my scroll saw much. I think you have a natural talent doing this. They will love this!

Terry – I just open the photo in photoshop and use the pen tool to trace the lines I want.

Wow… you did a great job of reducing the photo into a great pattern… and you did a great job of cutting it. Verrrry nicely done.
