this bowl, turned from eastern red cedar, turned out a little bit little! 4”wide x 2”tall, but my wife loves it!

Great bowl! Do the world a favor and turn about 50,000 more of them. We need to get rid of as many eastern red cedar as possible- very invasive species.

Great looking bowl… Just tell me you’re taking the proper precautions when turning cedar. It’s some real nasty stuff for your lungs. One of the guys that’s teaching me about turning lost a friend from turning it.

Love it. Love red cedar. A friend has a couple hundred acres of Red Cedar they want thinned out. I start later this week weather permitting :-)

HA! Send all the red cedar you want to me in the upper left coast. I’ll take everything you send.

It is a nice looking bowl.

Beautiful bowl.

I will take as many red cedar as you care to send me, as well. Send me a hundred trees, I’ll turn you a thousand bowls.

It’ll age to a rich golden color over the decades. Seal it with oil and wax and generations from now they’ll still treasure it. We’ve got 4 generations of cedar projects scattered throughout the houses, love them all. Spent summers cutting them out of fence rows.
