Some business card holders I made with contrasting wood veins laminated through them.

The first two pics are a card holder of mesquite with imbuia and padouk veins. The lid and case less than 1/8” thick. Mesquite is so stable it still closes perfectly flush years later.

Next two pics are a card tray with pen, main wood is koa with padouk and imbuia veins. I turned the pen from solid stock and threaded a brass cap on the tip – no pen kit!

Last two pics are a desk card tray and pen in block, primarily walnut with a padouk inlay, for my longhorn sister-in-law. As a Texas Aggie myself, it took a lot of love to make this…...

Really great work—especially the business card holders!
