Excellent piece, Mike. I’ve never turned dark walnut. Looks like there’s a ring on the top opening. What is the cause of this color difference?

In crotch wood you get that. A lot of color variations, however, for the most part this hunk was all pretty dark. mike, thanks Os.

Got some pay backs to get done I’m not looking forwared to. like making head mounts for a couple big deer and a couple carabou heads,. Not head mounts but mounting the horns on some kind of oak rack. mike
