This is Phase 1 of an Entertainment Center that I am building. The cabinet is made from quartersawn white oak and quartersawn white oak plywood. It measures 49.75” w x 21” d x 25.5” h. The piece has Arts and Crafts detailing. The carcase is plywood with dado joints and qs oak trim. The face frame is qs oak with pocket hole construction. The drawer boxes are poplar. The drawers and component tray use full extension slides. The finish is General Finishes Candlelight oil stain and Arm-R-Seal (Satin) topcoat and Briwax for the finish. Phase 2 (once I complete the room baseboards and crown molding) will include flanking book/display cases and a bridge cabinet.
