Maple, Walnut, and Birch. Measures 16”x17”. Finish is poly. Was much easier than the eagle!

looks great! seems like your seams are nice and tight…mine not as much, or maybe i’m just too critical of myself. my saw may be another problem…what kind do you use?

I use a PS Wood Machines scroll saw. Always use the smallest blades possible. When I cut pattern pieces out, I save all of the black line so the adjacent piece has a white edge. Then I cut half of the black line off and cut right on the edge of the white piece.
When I use the Craftsman band saw, I use 1/8” , 11tpi blade. Cut pieces out same as above.

Most of my patterns are from Judy Gale Roberts at Intarsia.com. Her patterns have very good facial features. I have made my own patterns from photos of pets. It takes me forever it seems to make the pattern. I’ve done dogs, a skunk and 2 goats. Will post them soon with original pic.
