This is a curly maple bowl I made this weekend. Its about 8” in dia. and 2” tall. I finished it with three coats of arm-r-seal. Thanks for looking. -- Rodney, Arlington Texas

I like big bowls. Maybe because I have’t had the opportunity to make myself a larger bowl.

I can see the curl. But that doesn’t look like any maple that I’ve seen.
It looks like visible pores in the growth rings area.
Nice job on the bowl.
