I recently watched the Woodwright episode about the greasebox and felt inspired. I looked around on lumberjocks and learned about Mafe’s GBOC and really wanted to join. Hope this gets me in. I turned the brass pin on a metal lathe at work and the box in my own small wood lathe. The hole that receives the pin is stepped to accept a spring that keeps the wide pin top in the recess until you push the bottom. Then it is the same slide back off the brass tooth and rotate to open that is common in other GBOC entries. Fun project.
