This project was made out of poplar. It has French made brass barrel hinges and hardware. Interior lighting in the top and under the the upper cabinets. There is pull out trays in the base cabinets behind the doors.

The center carving in the crown was hand done and is out of hard maple. This is actually the second try, I did one and did not like it so I did it over. The second one came out much better than the first.

The finish is a multi layer paint and glaze.

Very nice as usual, Les. I really like the hardware you put on the cabinets. The cabinetry is simply gorgeous both in design and execution.

Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful work, Les. The carving came out great. Well designed piece. I love the finish, too.

Les,

Superb execution! It’s difficult to see but, I assume thats beveled glass in the doors. Did you have that glass custom cut? Also, I assume that the walls will be painted. What do you propose for the base color?

Charles, The glass is beveled and was custom cut. This was for a clients I never made it back to see the room after is was finished, so I don’t know the color of the walls. I do know the walls were stucco, That’s why it was installed early so they could stucco up to it.

Thanks for all your comments guy’s
