This is my entry in the contest. I took 2 18” sections of the end and glued up a turning blank for the top, then turned the length in two pieces. Added some stain and paint, and some wire and leather wrap to finish the look.
It works fine for low level summoning spells, but I’d be pretty hesitant to cast anything like lightning bolt or fireball with it.

You’re a nut! But a fun one. That’s quite a get up you have there. I’m thinking that Voldormort has nothing to worry about with your project.
My advise though is to not be seen in public in that robe! :-)

Looks like a pretty good staff. Might be worth using it to save up a few spells in (I prefer Fireball or Magic Missile.
