I got the idea for this box from an article by Gary Rogowski in FWW. Lap Joints, shaped sides and top are the hallmark of this project. The wood is arbutus from 2 different trees hence the difference in colour between the main box and the lid. The top knob is a drawer pull I had laying around and attached to the rabbetted lid. The bottom is 1/8 maple plywood. The whole box is finished with two coats of BLO. The dimensions are 10”x4”x2.5”.

Cheers

Nice box, I do like Arbutus.
We are giving ourselves away as Canadian though by calling it that. :-)
