Cantilevered Votive Holders

I really liked the look of the Cantilevered Jewelry Box in the latest Wood magazine, but needed a set of votive holders for a gift. This is what I came up with.

They’re made of tiger maple for the base+top and mahogany for the side supports.
Finished with several coats of wipe-on poly.

The recipient really liked them, I hope you all do too.

I like them for sure. Beautiful wood, maple. you used it well. Great little display pieces.

Thanks for the comments Rick. Amazing how fast you can put something together when a quick gift is needed. Cut, assembled and finished in one day, from scraps.
