Excellent design… Looks like a nice pen to hold and use. The wood choices go well. Very nice job.

Yes, I alaways make my own pen boxes. Honestly, they are really easy to do…

The legs on the box are a nice touch. I tried doing one but didn’t realize until it was all said and done that my round bit wasn’t wide enough for a fountain pen to fit into the groove! What width is yours?

I think the bit is 1/2 wide.

But for the big fountain pens I do what you can see at this link when a small closed box is desired:
