I got this idea from a fellow Lumberjock some time ago. It is made of walnut plywood and solids, and is finishised with Seal-a-Cell as a primary cover and then several coats of sprayed lacquer. The first picture is initial install without the doors. The second picture is the top corner; the third picture is the finished installation; and the last picture is the ‘in-process’ of the doors. The center shelf that has the AVR is on drawer slides so I can pull out the AVR to install cabeling. There is a center channel between the TV and cabinet that hides some of the cables; it has a small ‘mouse hole’ level with the cabinet top so I can pull cabeling out (HDMI) to connect to a laptop when I want to run video streaming from the internet. The whole thing is attached via a French cleat.
