Serving Trays

Made a set of serving trays for me and the misses a couple of weeks ago. Mine has the cup cut-out on the left and hers is on the right. Trays were glued and nailed together then I filled in the nail heads with wood filler.
Made from left over white oak and store bought handles that matched the hardware on our entertainment center.
I used General Finishes water based dark brown dye to match the decor in our family room and applied three coats of General Finishes Poly/Acrylic Semi-Gloss topcoat.
