Just messing around with some yard debris. Rings made out of maple, cedar, walnut, and basswood.

Reaper621, I cut 2”x2” square blanks to thickness then used a spade bit to get the inside close to size and a carving knife and sandpaper to get the inside to finished size. Once I got the inside to fit, I used a scroll saw to cut the outside and rounded it over on a belt sander. For the basswood/walnut rings I just glued thinner layers together first, then used the process above.
