Two bowls made from local woods. The first is 12.5” diameter 4” tall from a quadruple crotch of sib elm, great grain and bark, i tried to include everything

Poplar bowl is 15” wide by 6+” it was huge and quite light weight being as thin as it was (1/4 to 3/8).

S. Elm is one of the prettiest woods I’ve seen. And yours at the TOP of that category. Very nice bowl.

Very nice. Well done. I’ve had some siberian elm in my inventory for a long time and I have never done anything with it. Now I feel motivated to use it. I did not know how neat it can look.

I am about to start a jewelry box and was planning on using chechen as my main wood. I may make a last minute switch to the siberian elm.
