Before Christmas I was asked if I could make a a table and chair set. This is what I came up with made entirely of popular. I have their grandchildren’s names carved (CNC) on the back of the chairs. The table legs are attached with wing nuts so it can be easily stored for the next generation after it’s grown out of.

The set looks really nice. I have been thinking about make a table and chairs set like this for my kids. They are pretty hard on things so it would have to be built to hold up. What type of joinery did you use on the chairs?

There are 2 dowels and a screw at each joint of the chairs. The table top is two pieces that are biscuited and pocket screwed.
