Perfect for that tiny hole I need to get to digging! So what hand tools do you use to make something like that? (other than a sharp knife)

thanks. appreciate that. sharp knife, made the shovel blade 7 or 8 times due to cracking under pressure – it and me :)
was successful using a curved palm-type carving tool and rasping with coarse sand paper
