This is a retirement gift I made for the warehouse guy a work. I am a fire sprinkler fitter by trade and this replicates a clamp I use a lot in the installation of pipe. I fitting gift for a guy that knows what it is.

The wood is oak and the nuts are cherry. I used the Beall threading system for the threaded rod and nuts. Anybody that has used this system knows it is 10,000 times better then any other way of threading wood.

It is finished with danish oil.

Thanks for looking.

Great design, very unique and a wonderful gift for a “fitter”.

Now I’m going to have to make one for myself.
