A walnut frame for my barber No-picture-s No-picture-s Click the pictures to enlarge them

Recently I saw an article about the barbers I go to in the daily paper. It reminded me when I got my picture in the paper when my classroom where I taught changed its curriculum. So I thought that they would like a framed picture of the page that highlighted them to hang in their shop and give me a little recognition too. The frame is made of walnut with mitered corners. I make my frames using a doweling jig for some dowels so the parts won’t slip when I clamp them up. I also like to double rabbet for the glass and the back so the back can be attached with screws keeping the assemble tight.

Pretty nice. I bet your barber appreciated it.

Nice frame and gesture. I wish I had a good barber, mine of 30+ years left the area after Katrina, haven’t had a good haircut in over 2 years. I’ve had haircuts, just not good haircuts :-))

That is a beautiful frame. I really like the grain pattern. (I don’t have a barber, I cut my own.)

Hi Bob,

This is a gorgeous frame. I am sure that this was appreciated by your barber.
