I made my mom this little stone nativity this year and I wanted to have a nice little box that looked good and kept these pieces safe so I whipped this up. The sides are made of walnut and the top and bottom are ash. I also made a lip on the top that fits just snug enough into the bottom to keep the whole thing closed. If you are ever looking to build a box, I will give you some advice: glue the whole thing together, sides, top, and bottom. When your glue is dried cut them in half. This is the best way to make sure that the top and bottom of your box match.

A great box and the nativity figures look right at home tucked away in this. Thanks for the box tip. I will definitely be using it.
