I got these blanks from a friends firewood pile. Kind of a flower pattern. I wanted to save that. Again it is red Cedar.

Cedar is so pretty just the way it is. such color. great piece

My blood pressure would start to rise evertime I got near one of the edges…..hoping the bit doesn’t catch and go running through the edge. Well done.
It would have been nice if all of the red could have been routered down. Then the red design would be showing striclty on the bottom of the bowl. I see a couple of areas where that might not be feasible. The trick would be to find a cross section that would allow this.
