East Texas turned bowls

Here are a few of the bowls I’ve turned. All were turned from wood harvested in East Texas.
1st—Spalted Pin Oak
2nd—Splated Red Oak Burl
3rd—Spalted Maple
4th—Spalted Red Oak Burl
5th—Spalted red Oak Burl

Good Looking bowls, even if they did come from Nacogdoches!

The stump is pin oak just like the bowl. In fact the stump and bowl are from the same tree!!
