This is a cutting board I made mainly just for show, but i like how it turned out. I wouldn’t use this board for a daily board without a few good coats of food grade wax and mineral oil but, this is for sure the one you would put out when company is coming. it is a beautiful showpiece with Bloodwood and Red Oak stripes and a walnut borer and diamond shaped inlay. i simply mde a jig and used my hand router to clean the diamond it looks beautiful with the mineral oil. The contrast is the star here and bloodwood darkens a lot with age so this will only gain looks over the years.

that is a stunning cutting board. hope to see more like it! i have started to do inlays on my boards even though they are a tad smaller.
