Unusual and interisting. I especially like the natural edge. Did you apply a glue to the edge to preserve the bark, or just use the same stain/sealer you used on the rest of the bowl?

I used a crystal clear paste wax on the entire bowl. I usually use different finishes on every project depending on the type of wood and use of the piece.

Beautiful bowl. I know mesquite is a really hard wood, does it turn well?
