This is the 1st set of toys for Christmas. Taken from some plans I found in a magazine, I made the planes entirely from scrap. One plane is made from mahogany and purple heart. The other is made from maple and purple heart. The pilots (Mario and Luigi) are made from a broom handle. Wheels were fashioned using a circle cutter. It was fun to make and the kids love them.
