Toys that I have made and sold at street fairs and festivals. I buy the wheels and Axel pegs and make toys of wood scraps. Poplar and fir mostly. I use 1” and 1 1/2” wheels. I find that Adults like the small 1” wheel toys but the kids go for the larger 1 1/2” wheel toys. Pictured are just a few I have made. I have about 30 different toys that I have made. I have made and sold about 400 toys a year the last three years.

Very nice toys, just the kind I enjoy making the most.

Thanks for posting!

Pretty nice toys. Where do you get your wheels at?

Our woodworking club buys the wheels and dowels for axles from a shop in Maine. There are many places to get wheels, we found this one to be the cheapest:
Casey’s Wood Products, Inc.
P.O. Box 365
Woolwich, ME 04579
