This is a cutting board I made my dad and step-mom for Christmas back in 1981. I was a freshman in high school and this was my class project. It is made from Maple and Walnut and is very thick and very heavy. I can’t remember what kind of finish I used on it, but I do recall it was some sort of oil. It had stood the test of time well. At this time, it can be found hanging on the wall in my dad’s kitchen.
