Very nice. I am about to embark on a Futon but was going to have slats. I never thought of making it solid llike yours. Much better idea – much more attractive. And yes if there are plans available I would be keen.

Came out looking really nice. I made this one a few years back. I did the same thing as you with the curved sliding grooves. I think it works a lot better. You can find the plans here.

You can find the plans at Woodstore.net. It is a Sleeping Beauty Futon. It does cost $8.95 for download plan. I used Aspen and birch plywood for this project. Thanks all for the comments.
