I wont take credit for building this, because my father did many many years ago. I however did clean it up today and fix the plate where the router mounts. I have added another tool to my arsenal..

Looks like it has been used well and has plenty of use left in it. What is the top and mounting plate made of?

formica spelling ? same stuff the counter tops in my house are made from, the corners are wrapped with oak. the mounting plate is hardboard.. i guess thats what its called..
