This is my first woodworking project ever. I have for a long time wanted to do wood projects but never got around doing so because i never thought i could really do it. My wife wanted to change the old kitchen that was built into our house since the house has been built (60+yrs) probably so i told her i will build it. She laughed so did I haha. But i seriously convinced her that i could and i went out bought a mitter saw, table saw, a router and bunch of hand tools i needed and so i went to work. This is the finished project and i am really surprised with the result and the only one laughing now haha. Not much counter space but i will build an island as well, but im busy with finishing our babys room thats on the way very soon. I would love some feedback from some pros from LJ. Thanx

Hi,

Great job looks great!
May i ask, what have you used for wood and also what did you use for you flat panels. Ive been looking at doing some doors of about the same size for a project .

Thank you all for the compliments I’m glad you liked it. @Jonathan, I used oak for the frames and 1/4 inch oak plywood panel for most of the doors. The last picture is kind of a different design. I wanted it to look different since it was detached from main part of the kitchen and i believe i used 1/4 birch plywood and pine for the door frames. Hope this helps :) again thank you all

Great job, thanks for the inspiration. We will be moving soon to a new fixer up house. New kitchen will be one of our priorities.
