I made a few wine bottle holders as stocking stuffers for christmas. two were made out of zebrawood and walnut and the other two are made of padauk (i believe).

Those are cool. Are the holes drilled at the same angle as the bevel?

thanks ! i didnt make the hole on the same angle only because it seems like it might lower the angle the bottle sticks out. It may still work with an angle, but I think it looks more odd sticking up in the air. Make test pieces out of mdf, its super easy.
