Ok this is my first attempt at a small cabinet, the first picture shows the cabinet glued up with a lap joint.
Not quite good enough on the miters yet, I have some tweaking to do to the saw. So opted for the Router table and a straight bit. The second picture is one of the doors, I carved it using my Carvewright, the total size of the cabinet is 18 inches high 24 inches wide and 10 inches deep. I made up the gluing strap system, 30 bucks for one is a bit much right at this moment. 16.00 bucks fro 4 – 10’ ratchet straps at Wally world was a bit better and some scrap wood for the 90 degree corners holders.I did learn a lot from this and what not to do the next time. I’ll post another picture when I get the doors mounted and get the finishing done.
Edit:I upload 2 more pictures of the shelf installed and the doors, I sealed the cabinet today and goes up tomorrow.

Jim, this looks like a good solid cabinet. I like the lighthouse design in the doors, looks like you have a good handle on using the carvewright. Don’t worry about the miters, they should fall into place once you get the saw tweaked.
