This was my very first project i have ever made. Its about 1yr old already has a few dings and dents but all in all been happy with it. Its made from white pine 1”x12”x6’ a few drywall screws and finished with poly 3 coats. I have another project i made last year ( book Shelf) for my wifes school room that i will post soon. I been using my mother inlaws camera and last eve she picked up a new camera and gave me hers im soo happy for the gift. Now i can post more things on ljs and get some good feed back on projects.

I like it. Are those butt joints screwed with plugs over the top? I’ve wanted to build something similar but haven’t been quite sure if that was sufficient jointing or not.

the joints are screwed butt joints on back and front legs into a 1×4 cross support on either side with plugs, the top was simple glue and brad nails. I use it my self all the time and i wiegh 200lbs and it remains solid as the first day built. The hardware i used was steal 2” screws. Just ensure the top over laps the front legs for added strength and wala.
