MY wife saw this table on Restoration Hardware’s web site and asked me to make her one. I bought the 2×6 T&G Fir from a used building material supplier for 25 cents a foot and a close friend helped me weld the frame up from 1 inch square tube. the whole thing cost me less than $60 in materials. ti measures 36W x 54L x 17H

Nice job. This is right up my alley. Why buy it when you can make it yourself for a fraction of the cost, right? I like the color, how did you stain/finish it?

Thanks guys.
My apologies for the typos hadn’t had my morning coffee yet. I stained the ends with some old fence stain mixed with a bit of black paint to achieve a close match to the top and applied 4 coats of clear.
