Tried a lathe for the first time and produced three pens. Now I’m hooked. Time to go shopping.

Wow!! Those are VERY nice for a first set of pens. They are nice, period. I’m an avid penturner and know how you feel right now. If your not already, check out the Internation Association of Penturners website www.penturners.org and become a member. They have A METRIC TON of great information from some very talented pen turners. Welcome to the craft! And VERY nice job. If you’re interested, I’ll show you how to encase wood pens in acrylic (CA glue). Once you try it, it’s hard to do anything else :-)

That is impressive for your first try. Now on to some acrylic and even aluminum pens. Keep it up, it is addictive.
