I’m in the process of a shop reorganization and Dust Collection efficiency improvements. You can follow along in my blog if you’d like.
Part of the re-org is changing how the DC hose get routed to the table saw. In order to rout it the way that I want too, I needed to move the blast gate under the table. Not the best place to put a blast gate for access so I made a remote operator. Made from Red Oak and Walnut scraps and 1/4×20 hardware. Works just a good as I was hoping for, GREAT!
One added bonus, with the gate closed, no more fishing out the dropped arbor nut!
Also a big THANK YOU to Nbeener for all of your help and input!
Thanks,
C
