Made my Grandson this work bench for Christmas. The back with light was made to be put on a sears cart. Even added a vise. My Grandson said it needed a drawer, so it now has a drawer.

This is really nice, Mike!

I’m sure the drawer will come in handy!

If it’s for the kids I’m all for it. Great Looking and with a draw it’s twice as nice!

Yep, just shows what you can do when time and money are no object, and it’s for grand kids.

-- I may not have a lot of good ideas, but some of them are just incredible.

My ten year-old son just got his own hand tools for Chirstmas. His first project is going to be his own tool box. His 2nd project is going to be his own workbench. I really like your design. Great job.

Really nice bench! Looks small enough to move around fairly easily. I really like that it doesn’t have 4 individual legs attached at each corner. I built a quick bench from construction scraps and when I came to the realization of all the pro’s of two side ‘legs’ and four ‘feet’ spreading out down low, I fell in love with the finished product. Now I need to take some lessons from you so my next one won’t be hideous or weigh 300 pounds like my current one!

That is one COOL kids bench!
... would even be a nice Adult bench for various things…

I know he will love it and will last him a major part of his life…

I’d say his first design design was a good one! Excellent gift!
